Entry Title:

Through the Marsh Grass

Project Description:

I wanted to use the natural marsh grass as a frame for the sunset. I also wanted to create depth in the picture by using the lines of the grass and the fronds on the outside. I found the perfect opening to capture the sunset where the grass formed a closed geometric shape, which framed the sunset nicely. Cropping the picture with the sun in the middle deepens the picture. I used black and white because the shadows and the contrast stand out against the tones in the sky.
